💲 Pay Range: $18.45 - $19.00 per hour

Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team.

In this role, you will help provide a clean, comfortable, and sanitary environment for our residents by performing laundry and housekeeping duties in accordance with facility standards and infection control guidelines.

Essential Duties


* Ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for resident care and comfort.


* Maintain all linens in good condition and remove items with stains, tears, or excessive wear.


* Collect resident laundry daily or as needed.


* Label new residents' clothing and personal items as necessary.


* Sort, treat, wash, dry, fold, and organize clothing and linens.


* Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner.


* Follow all sanitation, infection control, and laundry procedures.


* Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are low.


* Operate laundry equipment safely and properly.


* Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Administrator.


* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laundry area.

Qualifications

Education


* High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Experience


* One (1) year of laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, or related experience preferred.

Skills


* Strong attention to detail.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Dependable and punctual.


* Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.


* Excellent customer service and communication skills
