Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team.

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare setting.

Position Details


* Position: Janitor


* Status: Full-Time


* Schedule: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off


* Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.00 per hour


* Location: Hayward Gardens Post Acute

Responsibilities


* Clean and maintain resident rooms, common areas, hallways, offices, and other designated areas.


* Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility.


* Clean and disinfect high-touch areas and frequently used spaces.


* Maintain restrooms and ensure they remain clean, stocked, and sanitary.


* Collect and properly dispose of trash and waste according to facility procedures.


* Assist with maintaining a safe and orderly environment for residents, visitors, and staff.


* Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.


* Report maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to the appropriate supervisor.


* Follow all facility infection control, safety, and sanitation policies.


* Maintain professional and respectful interactions with residents and staff.


* Perform other housekeeping and environmental services duties as assigned.

Qualifications


* Previous janitorial, housekeeping, environmental services, or healthcare facility experience preferred.


* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.


* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.


* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.


* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.


* Ability to safely use cleaning products and equipment.


* Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift as required to perform job duties.


* Compassionate and respectful approach when working in a healthcare environment.
