NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry team member.

This position supports both environmental cleanliness and linen services, helping create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for patients, residents, families, visitors, and partners.
Position Responsibilities


* Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned spaces.


* Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and complete other routine housekeeping duties.


* Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.


* Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled laundry.


* Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely.


* Restock supplies and help maintain clean, organized work areas.


* Follow infection control, sanitation, safety, and NHC procedures.


* Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.

Qualifications


* Dependable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.


* Ability to follow housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and infection control procedures.


* Previous housekeeping, laundry, or health care experience is preferred but not required.


* Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
