FP&A Lead Manager

Job Summary



* As a FP&A Lead Manager, your performance and contribution will achieve the following goals and objectives:


* Lead and manage several sub-groups within FP&A.


* Managing planning, budgeting, management reporting, and variance analysis processes


* Provide business support decision analysis for applicable business units


* Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning


* Understand key revenue drivers and translate them into actionable recommendations

* Mentorship: Your skills will help develop the analysts of the future, advising best practices and advancement of skills.


* Manage the FP&A team's analytical capability and bench strength through direction, mentorship, and cross-training, and cultivate strong working relationships across Treasury, Accounting, Operations, and business units to ensure alignment on financial priorities.

Manage ad hoc analyses and special projects to support evolving business needs and growth


* Ensure key financial models are in place for efficient and accurate reporting


* Collaborate proactively across business functions to deliver high-quality results


* Translate operational activities into financial impacts and recommendations to executive leadership including CEO, COO, and CFO


* Provides direction and leadership to employees.

Coordinates employee development planning and intra-departmental coverage.


* Serve as a strategic partner and primary point of contact to Accounting, Operations, and business unit leaders, ensuring forecasts and plans reflect a consistent, enterprise-wide view.

Minimum Qualifications



* Bachelors degree


* 8 years job related experience


* ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and EPM/FP&A platforms (Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service)


* Ability to translate operational drivers into financial impact and vice versa


* Industry-specific knowledge.

Understanding crack spreads, crude differentials, commodity price risk, and how those cascade through margins


* Proficiency/prior experience with energy trading and risk management (ETRM) software platform preferred
