Waterjet Operator
Programs and operates CNC Waterjet equipment per specifications with a high rate of accuracy, efficiency and safety.
Conducts basic daily maintenance on equipment and maintains production schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1.
Sets-up Waterjet to run and operate in a safe and efficient manner.
2.
Communicates regularly with colleagues to ensure high quality and accurate products.
3.
Use an overhead crane to load and unload slabs of stone on and off the CNC machines.
4.
Monitors equipment and makes necessary adjustments to continuously produce better results.
5.
Ensures finished products meet customer specifications.
6.
Troubleshoots equipment and notifies maintenance and/or managers with material defects, discrepancies or machine malfunction.
7.
Maintains a clean and orderly work environment.
8.
Contributes to a positive team environment.

Education and/or Experience Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills include the ability to: - Program, diagnose and/or identify parts of basic equipment malfunctions - Read, understand and follow shop drawings/blueprints in English - Take measurements and make cuts to within 1/32 tolerance - Perform basic calculations - Work independently with minimal supervision - Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to airborne particles and moderate to high noise levels while in the shop.
Employee will stand for long periods of time will experience hot, cold and wet conditions.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally need to life or move object over 70+ pounds.
Must be able to properly bend, reach and lift without reasonable accommodations.
