Lead, Pricing Application Engineer

As part of Schneider Electric's Digital Sales & Support organization, the Pricefx team is seeking a Pricefx Developer with strong programming expertise and a secondary focus on L2/L3 support activities.

The primary responsibility of this role is designing, developing, and enhancing Pricefx solutions, while also contributing to platform stability, troubleshooting, and support operations.

The ideal candidate is a developer-first professional who can also operate effectively in a support environment, ensuring system reliability and continuous improvement.

What will you do?

Development (Core Focus)


* Design, develop, and enhance solutions on the Pricefx platform



* Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using:



* Groovy (preferred)



* Java or Python (acceptable alternatives)



* Contribute to solution architecture for scalable, cloud-based applications



* Participate in Agile development practices, including:



* Test-driven development (TDD)



* Pair programming



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Operations, and Cyber Security Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the Pricefx ecosystem

What are the key skills we are looking for?


* Technical Skills
+ Minimum 3+ years of programming experience
+ Strong expertise in:
+ Groovy (highly preferred)
+ Java or Python
+ Experience designing applications for scalable platforms
+ Solid understanding of:
+ APIs and integrations
+ Debugging and troubleshooting techniques
+ Agile methodologies Recent hands-on experience in software development is essential
(Preference for candidates currently active or with minimal career gaps)

+ Exposure to enterprise SaaS platforms or pricing solutions (Pricefx is a strong advantage)
+ Experience working in support + development hybrid roles is a plus
