Job Summary

This position requires operating a forklift on both paved and unpaved surfaces.

The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, covered and uncovered manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities



* Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials


* Transport materials to designated area


* Unload and stacks materials


* Inventory materials on yard


* Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner


* Must be able to work with minimal supervision in ensuring customers are loaded as scheduled without undue delay


* Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements



* Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating a forklift to load and unload materials in a manufacturing/retail distribution environment


* Excellent customer service skills are required


* High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience


* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions


* Ability to follow company production and safety procedures


* Ability to pass internal certification training


* Willing to work flexible schedules/overtime as required


* Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
