The Treasury Specialist helps protect the credit union’s financial integrity by ensuring funds move accurately, securely, and on time.
This role supports member trust, regulatory confidence, and operational liquidity by bringing precision and expertise to wire transfers, cash positioning, and treasury operations.
What You’ll Do
* Process domestic, international, and third-party payment orders accurately while meeting time-sensitive operational deadlines.
* Safeguard member and credit union assets by performing due diligence.
* Resolve complex funds transfer questions and variances by researching activity, reconciling accounts, and communicating outcomes clearly.
* Maintain the credit union’s cash position by monitoring target balances with correspondent financial institutions and the Federal Reserve.
* Support accurate financial reporting by posting general ledger and member account entries and preparing monthly wire transfer reconciliations.
* Ensure regulatory readiness by retaining required documentation and applying BSA, OFAC, CIP, CDD, SAR, and red-flag requirements.
* Contribute to stronger treasury systems by participating in regression testing and system enhancement testing.

Experience:
Preferred
* 1-year wire transfer experience preferred
* 1-year teller experience preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
Required
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications to include Microsoft Excel
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent organization skills
* Solid analytical skills
* Knowledge of general accounting terms
* Keen attention to detail and accuracy
Education:
Required
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred
* Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economic fields preferred
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm
Compensation Details:
Paygrade: 1CA
The expected pay range for this position is $23.77 – $24.10 hourly.
