We are searching for the best talent for Electrician 1st Class.

This position is under a Collective Bargaining Agreement in a union environment and the hourly rate is $28.34/hr

This role will perform electrical and electronic repairs, preventive maintenance, equipment installations, and modifications on a wide range of production equipment with limited supervision.

The candidate must also possess the ability to read blueprints, handle ESD-sensitive components, and perform soldering operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:


* Be able to determine wire and cable size requirements by calculating voltage, amperage, wattage, resistance, etc.


* Be able to diagnose motor and motor control troubles and correct by repairing or replacing parts.


* Operate all testing equipment such as Voltage testers, Voltmeters, Ammeters, Ohmmeters, Wattmeters, etc.


* Install, maintain, and repair electronic control circuits and equipment, photoelectric cell circuits, level controls, etc.


* Work on live lines and circuits using all safety precautions..


* Change light bulbs and ballast of all types; also replace or repair fuses of any size used in plant.


* Operate and work from ladders.


* Make necessary openings, cut outs, etc.
