Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable On-Call Activity Assistant to join our team.

In this role, you will help create and lead engaging activities that enhance the quality of life, social engagement, and emotional well-being of our residents.

Position Details


* Position: Activity Assistant


* Status: On-Call


* Pay Rate: $17.00-$18.75 per hour


* Location: Medical Hill Healthcare Center

Responsibilities


* Assist with planning, organizing, and facilitating recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities.


* Encourage resident participation and engagement in scheduled programs.


* Set up and clean activity areas before and after programs.


* Escort residents to and from activities as needed.


* Assist with holiday celebrations, special events, and community outings.


* Maintain activity supplies and equipment.


* Document resident attendance and participation.


* Create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all residents.


* Provide friendly and compassionate interaction with residents while supporting their individual interests and needs.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Previous experience working with seniors, healthcare, recreation, or activity programs is a plus.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Compassionate, patient, energetic, and enthusiastic personality.


* Ability to work with residents with varying levels of mobility and cognitive function.


* Reliable and flexible availability to work on an on-call basis.
