Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Responsibilities


* Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist


* Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence


* Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, transfer training, gait training, and mobility activities


* Monitor resident performance, response to treatment, and progress toward goals


* Communicate patient progress and treatment outcomes to supervising Physical Therapist


* Educate residents and families on exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety strategies


* Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
