Rotating Shift Part-Time Cook

🍽️ What You'll Do


* Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to the menu.


* Follow recipes, portion sizes, and special diet requirements.


* Prepare meals that are nutritious, appealing, and resident-friendly.


* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.


* Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.


* Properly store, label, and rotate food supplies.


* Work closely with dietary staff and other departments.


* Help ensure meals are ready and served on time.


* Listen to residents' needs and help make mealtime an enjoyable experience.

👩‍🍳 What We're Looking For


* Previous cooking experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person!


* Dependable and punctual.


* Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.


* Able to follow recipes and instructions.


* Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen.


* Good communication and teamwork skills.


* Attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety.


* Compassionate and respectful toward older adults.


* A positive attitude and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
