Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities


* Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders


* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident goals and clinical needs


* Conduct dysphagia assessments and provide evidence-based swallowing interventions


* Treat residents with neurological, cognitive, and medically complex conditions


* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, residents, and families


* Educate residents, caregivers, and staff regarding treatment recommendations and compensatory strategies


* Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning activities
