Second Shift Laundry Aide

Essential Duties


* Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.


* Properly identify and return clothing to the correct residents.


* Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and safe.


* Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to training.


* Report damaged or missing clothing and equipment concerns.


* Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and other departments.


* Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect.


* Help create a positive and welcoming environment for our residents.

Qualifications


* Dependable and punctual.


* Able to work independently and as part of a team.


* Good organizational and time-management skills.


* Able to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull as required for the position.


* Comfortable working around older adults in a healthcare setting.


* Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required .


* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn are a must!

Pay Rate $15.50
