Salinas Valley Post Acute is seeking a dedicated, full-time Cook to join our culinary team in Salinas, CA.

Key Responsibilities



* Prepare and cook meals according to prescribed therapeutic diets and textures.


* Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness.


* Follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.


* Ensure meals are served timely, hot, and presented beautifully for our residents.


* Assist with inventory, restocking, and proper food storage.

Qualifications



* Experience cooking in a healthcare, senior living, or high-volume commercial kitchen preferred.


* Knowledge of food safety regulations and safe food-handling practices.


* Ability to work reliably on weekends (Friday-Sunday).


* Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.
