Database Administrator - ServiceNow Technical Transformation Senior Consultant

Work You'll Do

As a Senior Consultant, Technical Transformation on the ServiceNow and Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for supporting the stability, security, and performance of database environments that enable enterprise ServiceNow capabilities.


* Administer, maintain, and optimize databases supporting a self-hosted ServiceNow environment hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)


* Perform database backup, recovery, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning activities to support system reliability and availability


* Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, incident troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of database-related issues


* Manage AWS database resources and implement security, access, and compliance controls aligned to organizational requirements


* Automate routine database administration activities, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with cloud, security, and ServiceNow teams to support ongoing operations


* Provide on-call support for critical production issues as needed

Qualifications

Required:


* Bachelor's degree


* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required


* 3+ years of experience administering databases in a self-hosted ServiceNow environment


* 3+ years of experience supporting database operations in Amazon Web Services (AWS)


* 3+ years of experience with database backup, recovery, patching, and performance tuning


* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
