TAB Technician

TAB Technician Position Responsibilities: Use and operate test and balance equipment and instrumentation.Proactively communicate progress, issues, and status to management as required.Adjust fan speeds, pumps speeds, balancing dampers, fan rotation, heating and cooling modes, thermostat operation, damper controls, fan controls, valve positioning and other air/water-side mechanical system operations.Complete paperwork legibly and concisely.Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.Perform initial site inspection, review mechanical plans and specifications.Adjust balancing dampers, measure final HVAC operating conditions, and ensure correct building and space pressure.Adjust individual balancing dampers for supply, return, make up and exhaust as needed to achieve design airflow from each diffuser grill and register.Use software to interact and validate Building Automation System operation.
