HVAC Technician

Job Purpose

This position is responsible for the operation and repair of the cooling, heating, ventilation for the facility.

As examples, quarterly preventive maintenance orders, filter replacements, checking belt conditions, cleaning condensation pans, lubricating fan and motor bearings, cleaning and brushing off coils and checking for leaks on all valve, strainer etc.

Perform numerous service calls on all areas of the engineering department.

The result is to assure a comfortable, safe environment for our guests and employees.

 

Primary (Essential) Duties


* Complete work orders in a timely manner.


* Perform service calls on a daily basis in various areas


* Work closely with manager on new system upgrades and modifications.


* Provide assistance to other departments for their maintenance and mechanical needs.


* Conduct ongoing inventory control.


* Assist other areas in engineering with complex projects.


* Ability to read blueprints

 

Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities


* Ability to read blueprints


* Ability to use necessary equipment, lifts, and knowledge of EPA requirements 


* Knowledge of general trades

 

Experience/Education Requirements


* Five years knowledge of HVAC maintenance and repair


* High School or equivalent

* Lift 50 pounds


* Climb ladders


* Work in extreme temperatures


* Multitask
