Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Assessment & Authorization

TQI Solutions is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst Assessment & Authorization to support Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard (PHNSY).

In this role, you will be responsible for the management and support renewal of Authority-to-Operate (ATO) packages for Government information systems within the Risk Management Framework (RMF).

The estimated salary range for this role is $100,000$130,000 per year.

Final compensation is dependent upon the candidate's skills, qualifications, contract-specific guidelines, and geographic location.

Responsibilities: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, outlining findings, risk assessments, and recommended mitigation strategies.

Develops and maintains an Assessment & Authorization (A&A) tracker.Conduct comprehensive evaluations of military information systems, networks, and platforms to identify deviations from acceptable configurations and security policies.Lead the implementation and execution of RMF processes, including security control assessments, vulnerability assessments, and authorization packages.Ensure compliance with DoD directives, including AR 25-2, AR 380-19, and NIST 800-53, and support the development of policies and procedures to enhance security measures.Perform detailed analysis and validation of security controls to assess their effectiveness in mitigating identified risks.Collaborate with incident response teams to analyze and remediate security incidents, providing technical expertise in identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.Provide guidance and training to junior analysts and personnel on cybersecurity best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.6-10 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 3 years specializing in military technical security evaluations.

Previous Assessment & Authorization (A&A) experience highly desired.ServiceNow ticket management experience preferred.Certifications: At least one of the following certifications is required: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)Certified Authorization Professional (CAP)CompTIA Security+ Proven experience with Assessment & Authorization processes in Risk Management Frameworks.Clear understanding of DoD systems, risk management, and A&A requirements.Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and securit...
