HVAC Technician I

Rutter's is looking for an HVAC/R Technician to join our team! If you have HVAC/R or restaurant equipment service experience and enjoy hands-on troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment, this could be a great opportunity to grow your career with Rutter's.

What You'll Do As an HVAC/R Technician I, you'll help keep Rutter's locations operating safely and efficiently by servicing and repairing a wide variety of equipment and systems, including: Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Refrigeration equipment Kitchen and foodservice equipment Beverage systems Plumbing systems Lighting and electrical systems General building repairs, including minor drywall, flooring, and painting Company tools, equipment, and service vehicles This position requires participation in an on-call rotation and the ability to work overtime as needed, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What We're Looking For At least 2 years of experience in HVAC/R or restaurant equipment service OR 2 years of formal technical training in HVAC/R, plumbing, or electrical EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification - Required Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage service needs across multiple locations May be required to successfully pass a DOT physical depending on the vehicle operated Why Join Rutter's?
