Key Responsibilities Supervise and engage children through age-appropriate activities including games, arts & crafts, outdoor play, and circle timeMaintain a clean, safe, and nurturing environmentBuild positive relationships with children and familiesFollow daily schedules while creating smooth transitions throughout the daySupport infants and toddlers with feeding, diapering, and hands-on careModel YMCA core values: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and ResponsibilityCollaborate with teammates to deliver joyful, high-quality programming Qualifications Minimum age of 16Energy, responsibility, and a passion for working with childrenAbility to multitask and remain attentive in a dynamic environmentStrong communication skills and commitment to inclusion6+ months of childcare experience preferredCertifications in CPR, First Aid, AED, Bloodborne Pathogens, and YMCA Child Abuse Prevention (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).

Physical Requirements This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, observing, and communicating, as well as occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs.
