We are currently searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Construction Group team of talented employees!

Operates a variety of equipment in asphalt heavy highway construction safely and efficiently to achieve production goals.

Performs proper daily inspections, lubrication, cleanings, and maintenance to keep equipment up to operational standards.

Job Duties:


* Operating a variety of equipment including Motor graders, excavators, front end loaders, rubbertire backhoes, and dozers


* Advanced knowledge and ability to operate in the functions and limits of the type of equipment you are operating.


* Guide placement of equipment, spotters, and trucks to perform the required task safely and efficiently.


* Checking grades, yields, and communicating with QC smoothness and densities.


* Ability to use 3D automated machine controls.


* Keeps equipment and site housekeeping clean.


* Assesses daily job and production plans for efficiencies and potential safety concerns.


* Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment


* Performing other duties on the jobsite when not operating equipment
