S ummary:

The Environmental Manager administers the plant environmental program following federal and state environmental laws and regulations in alignment with corporate environmental policies.

This position ensures ongoing environmental compliance and fosters best practices in all operations.

The position implements environmental policies and practices, supports the development of environmental strategies to meet targets, and deploys tools and systems to monitor performance and strategic outcomes.

What you'll be contributing:



* Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.


* Ensures compliance with all environmental (air, water, and waste) permits and all applicable federal, state, and local environmental laws and regulations.


* Maintains a compliance task list and monitoring system, including deadlines to ensure compliance.


* Evaluates site environmental performance, identifies corrective actions through audits, and implements follow-up assessments.


* Serves as the local contact with regulatory and community stakeholders relating to environmental matters.


* Participates in projects involving environmental issues, including contact with regulatory agencies, and accompanies inspectors during inspections.


* Reviews all projects for environmental compliance and obtains necessary permits for executionAssists regulatory agencies by providing information and assistance as required.


* Completes, administers, and assists in preparing various reports/renewals.


* Coordinates and supervises stack testing activities and reviews/approves all stack testing reports.


* Completes, administers, and assists with various surveys and questionnaires from internal and external sources.


* Performs audits of the data acquisition system and maintains/administers changes.
