Position Overview

Under the guidance of the Technical Services Manager, you'll perform ASTM-standard tests on concrete and raw materials to guarantee the highest quality and ensure products meet exact specifications.

You'll become a trusted resource for our customers, providing expert support on concrete performance, mix design, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities


* Conduct seven ASTM tests on plastic concrete samples, including slump, air, yield, temperature, moisture, and related analyses.


* Lead and instruct batch plant teams in scheduled testing and quality procedures.


* Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving inquiries and issues professionally, strengthening client relationships.


* Collect and sieve rock and sand samples to maintain high quality standards.


* Manage and deliver test cylinders between batch plants and our state-of-the-art research lab.


* Ensure compliance with ASTM specifications and ACI standards in all testing and reporting.


* Keep laboratory equipment calibrated and in optimal condition.


* Document and report test results, maintaining accurate records of all projects.


* Conduct safety training, including slump school for drivers and staff.


* Take on special projects and additional tasks as assigned.


* Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, consistently observing safety regulations.


* Coordinate closely with batch plant teams to optimize concrete production.
