Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our remote team.

This role involves supporting providers by managing patient calls, processing clinical requests, and ensuring accurate patient documentation.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant program Active CMA certification - will be asked to provide copy of certification Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a medical office or clinic Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) Ability to work with high call volumes in fast-paced environments Responsibilities: Process patient messages, prescription refills, and prior authorizations Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Schedule appointments and coordinate care across providers Provide outstanding customer service to patients and families Skills: Success in this role requires the ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Strong telephone etiquette, clinical knowledge, and multitasking skills are essential to ensure patients receive timely, accurate, and compassionate care.
