The Marina Manager will be in charge of leading day-to-day operations and management of the business in the absence of the General Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversees the management of berthing, mooring, storage and servicing of boats within the marinaOversee transient activity in slips and reservationsResponsible for daily operations of yard activity and marina docks in all seasonsDaily inspection of marina machinery and schedule regular maintenance to provide a clean and safe facilityComply with state fuel facility requirements, including tank and line testing, proper operator certification, and maintenance recordsManage, train, schedule and supervise yard teammates while leading by example and upholding Safe Harbor standardsSafely operate Marina owned marine and land vehiclesOperate machinery including Travelift, hydraulic trailer, Neptunes, forklift, power washer, and other marina equipmentCoordinate regular machine maintenance and ensure machinery is in safe working conditionHaul out and launch boats.
Offload trailersArrange and move boats in and out of buildings for winter storage including blocking and using jackstandsProvide exceptional customer service and hospitality for incoming boats and new and existing MembersAssist with and attend Marina events including the annual boat showMaintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and local authoritiesEnsures that teammates, Members and guests observe all marina rules and regulationsAvailability to work overtime when requiredAbility to work some weekends and holidaysAssist Fuel Dock Staff as needed to fuel equipment and boatsAssist with team development and support a positive team environmentAssist as needed with Facilities ManagerUse marina programs include Kronos, Dockwa, Excel and WordAny other tasks as assigned by General Manager as needed Safety and Environ...
