PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires the Operator skills needed to assist our roadway milling crews in various types of projects, including operating various pieces of equipment used in roadway milling and responsibilities can be extended based on experience and ability.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operating and ground support of various equipment needed in support of milling of roads, highways, and parking lots.
QUALIFICATIONS
1.
Experience in roadway or site construction and working around or with roadway milling operations.
2.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
3.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
4.
Ability to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
5.
Ability to perform work in daytime and nighttime conditions.
6.
OSHA 10 certification will be required if hired.
7.
Must Hold a Valid Driver's License
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment in designated operations and construction areas as outlined by OSHA and state agencies.
Protective equipment that is required for this position: Hardhat, safety glasses, reinforced toed shoes, hand protection, safety vest/high visibility clothing for any work in the field, and hearing protection.
