* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science (Master's or PhD preferred).


* 3 years of industrial experience in coatings formulation or metal finishing.


* Deep understanding of polymer science, curing mechanisms, and electrochemical processes.


* Proven ability to perform root-cause analysis on coating failures (e.g., adhesion loss, premature corrosion).


* Mechanical Engineering Awareness or knowledge will be beneficial.


* Good interpersonal skills to interface effectively with co-workers and management.


* Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.


* Must possess proficient Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, etc.)


* Solid analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate technical and operational issues and to develop effective solutions.


* Excellent planning, organizational and implementation skills to deliver superior levels of performance in assigned areas of responsibility.


* Proven interpersonal and leadership abilities to interact effectively with individuals and groups both internal and external to the company and at all levels.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
