Depuy Synthes is the largest, most innovative, and comprehensive orthopaedic business in the world.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.

The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Development Engineer within our Joint Reconstruction R&D Knee New Product Development Team.

You will be working alongside other specialists responsible for providing technical R&D support for new product introductions in the market.

Development Engineers play a vital role as a core member of the new product development team.

They are responsible for working closely with design engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing associates, and suppliers throughout all phases of the product development lifecycle.

The development engineer is critical in influencing the design for manufacture, defining the design attributes, and transferring the product design to manufacturing.

This role will collaborate with internal team members and outside manufacturing partners to drive the development & qualification of the new product introductions.
