Occupational Therapist (OT) Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide skilled, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions


* Help residents improve daily living skills, safety, mobility, and functional independence


* Collaborate with Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams


* Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress


* Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation


* Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes

Qualifications
Required


* Active and unrestricted California Occupational Therapist (OT) License


* Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills


* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


* Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care

Preferred


* Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Therapy


* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
