Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will:


* Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans


* Provide skilled physical therapy services to improve mobility, strength, balance, endurance, and functional independence


* Implement evidence-based rehabilitation interventions


* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams


* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, treatment plans, and safety techniques


* Document patient progress accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory and facility standards


* Assist residents in achieving their highest practical level of function and quality of life

Qualifications
Required:


* Current and active California Physical Therapist (PT) License


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Preferred:


* Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Post-Acute Care, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or Geriatric Care


* New graduates are encouraged to apply
