Consultant, Land Services Document Specialist
Shape the foundation of critical energy infrastructure projects through precision, organization, and document excellence.
At ERM, we're looking for an experienced Consultant, Land Services Document Specialist to support electric transmission and distribution projects across the Richmond, VA and Charlotte, NC areas.
This is a key role that helps ensure complex project documentation is accurate, organized, compliant, and readily accessible throughout the project lifecycle.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll play an important part in supporting land rights, permitting, and real estate documentation that enables essential infrastructure projects to move forward efficiently and successfully.

You will also contribute to ERM's culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement by identifying efficiencies, supporting project teams, and maintaining high standards of document management across every stage of project execution.
What You'll Bring
Required
* High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
* 2+ years (3+ years preferred) of document control experience.
* Ability to handle large volumes of information systematically.
* Experience using electronic document management systems (EDMS), cloud storage platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to proofread documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper formatting.
* Ability to work effectively with multiple departments to streamline workflows and support project objectives.
* Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
* Ability to work under supervision while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.
