Clinical Psychologist
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide expert psychological consultation and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of psychology-based programs, services, and initiatives.
- Develop and enhance assessment methodologies, tools, and processes to support organizational and workforce objectives.
- Conduct and interpret individual, team, and/or organizational assessments and provide actionable recommendations.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends, evaluate outcomes, and inform decision-making.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in psychology, behavioral science, and human performance.
- Lead complex client engagements and influence strategic decisions through evidence-based recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to address complex challenges and achieve project objectives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and thought leadership to colleagues and clients.
- Practice within the guidelines of the applicable state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and Military Treatment Facility (MTF) privileges.
- Conduct psychological evaluations using information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses in accordance with the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, support medical and surgical clients coping with illnesses or injuries, and assist in client rehabilitation.
- Produce reports of evaluation and/or treatment, as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required; Master's degree in Psychology and 8+ years of related experience or PhD and 6+ years of related experience required.
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) from an American Psychological Association-accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology.
Minimum of two (2) years of peer-reviewable clinical practice in a mental health setting.
- Successful completion of an internship/residency in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Preferred Requirement
Experience working in a government setting, such as the Department of War (DoW) or Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Military Treatment Facility (MTF).
Interviewing, Credentialing, and Privileging Requirements
- May be required to attend a face-to-face interview.
- This position is a credentialed position.
