Sales Associate

Job Summary: We are looking for a part-time Sales Associate at the United Pomona Jungle Boys location.

The Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection, completing sales transactions, and supporting the overall retail environment.

The Sales Associate is responsible for maintaining compliance with local and state regulations while ensuring a positive shopping experience.

This is an entry-level retail role suited for candidates passionate about cannabis and customer care.

Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience.

Educate customers on different cannabis products, methods of consumption, and effects (without offering medical advice).

Verify customer identification and applicable documents, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Fulfill online orders and assist with curbside pickup services.

Process retail transactions accurately through the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming retail environment.

Restock and merchandise product displays.

Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, team members, and leadership.

Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding compliance, safety, and operations.

Participate in regular training and cannabis education programs.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and customer service skills.

Must be 21 years old.

Basic understanding of cannabis products or willingness to learn.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding compliance documentation.

Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.

Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior retail experience preferred but not required.

Cannabis industry experience is a plus.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Frequent use of hands to operate POS systems, handle product, and organize materials.
