About This Job As a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.
You serve as a primary point of contact for patients, providing compassionate support and essential clinical services.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Prepares examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, stocked, and ready for patient visits.Greets patients warmly, escorts them to exam rooms, and prepares them for their appointments.Measures and records vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration, and weight.Performs phlebotomy procedures, collecting blood samples efficiently and safely.Administers medications and injections as directed by the provider, adhering to all safety protocols.Conducts Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) tests precisely, ensuring accurate readings.Collects and processes various specimens, ensuring proper labeling and handling for laboratory analysis.Educates patients on medical procedures, medication instructions, and general health information clearly and empathetically.Documents all patient interactions, vital signs, procedures, and other relevant information accurately within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.Utilizes correct medical terminology in all written and verbal communications.Maintains strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality in all aspects of care.Assists providers during examinations and procedures, anticipating needs and providing necessary support.Manages patient flow, ensuring appointments run on schedule and minimizing wait times.Responds to patient inquiries and phone calls, providing information or directing calls to appropriate personnel.Sterilizes medical instruments and equipment according to established guidelines.
Required Qualifications Education Completes a high school diploma or equivalent.Graduates from an accredited Medical Assistant program.Holds current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA).
Experience Possesses at least one year of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
Knowledge/Skills Demonstrates proficiency in Phlebotomy techniques.Accurately performs Vital Signs Measurement.Navigates and utilizes Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems effectively.Administers Medication Administration safely and accurately.Performs Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) procedures correctly.Provides clear and concise Patient Education.Collects, labels, and processes Specimen Collection according to protocol.Administers various types of Injections.Understands and applies Medical Terminology.Adheres strictly to HIPAA Compliance regulations and patient confidentiality.Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.Works collaboratively as part of a healthc...
