Machining - CNC Operator 3rd shift

Chromalloy is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines that produce precision aerospace components.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, thrives in a manufacturing environment, and understands the importance of accuracy, consistency, and meeting tight tolerances. You'll be responsible for machine setup, part inspection, and day-to-day production activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Shift Information

Shift: 3rd Shift | Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
(Days and hours may fluctuate based on business needs, which may include weekends.)
Shift Differential: $2-$4 per hour, depending on assigned workdays
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

What You'll Be Doing:



* Set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines


* Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications


* Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs


* Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met


* Make basic program edits and part adjustments as needed


* Maintain production, quality, safety, and 5S standards


* Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional production activities as needed

What We're Looking For:



* High school diploma or equivalent


* 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred


* Ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment


* Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings


* Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools


* Understanding of machining tolerances and basic shop math


* Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Ability to pass job-related skills testing
