Community Program and Peer Network Coordinator (Remote)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of employees through cultivation of a high performance team
- Ensure adequate staff coverage for assigned program area
- Serve as subject matter expert for identified area of program knowledge
- Ensure assigned team is meeting contract and individual SLA's, and related requirements
- Work with contract management and shared services to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies
- May attend client and stakeholder meetings
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
-The successful candidate will support POTFF's mission to optimize and sustain SOF readiness, longevity, and performance through integrated, holistic human performance programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead or support the assessment, planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of community-based and peer-mentoring programs.
- Organize and oversee peer-support networks, including recruiting, training, and coordinating peer counselors in accordance with USSOCOM CPPNC standards.
- Collect, analyze, document, and report qualitative and quantitative data to support formative and outcome evaluations.
- Identify program and service gaps and develop targeted initiatives based on population, location, and mission needs.
- Connect SOF personnel and families with appropriate Department of Defense resources, including Military OneSource, Military and Family Life Counseling, personal financial counseling, and crisis-support services.
- Review and provide recommendations on policies, procedures, and processes to strengthen program alignment, effectiveness, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners across the military Services, Department of Defense, government agencies, and civilian organizations.
- Promote proactive help-seeking, resilience, and timely access to resources while supporting suicide-prevention and stigma-reduction initiatives.
- Prepare briefings, reports, and recommendations for government and program leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of program objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Minimum of two years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree in education, human services, social work, public health, psychology, or a related field.
- Experience supporting program development, peer-support services, prevention initiatives, crisis intervention, community outreach, or social-service planning.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data and outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder-engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment with military, government, and civilian partners.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office applications.
