Position Overview

The Concrete Plant Operator will be responsible for accurately preparing and mixing high quality concrete for various projects.

This role requires a strong understanding of concrete properties, batching processes, and safety regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Operation of various concrete plants in a safe and efficient manner.


* Responsible for batching concrete loads according to mix designs and specifications.


* Maintenance of the plants by cleaning and greasing on a set schedule.


* Responsible to keep a detailed log of all plant activities that occur throughout each day.


* Coordinate tanker delivery, concrete dispatch, concrete operations and others as necessary to ensure a smooth operation of the plant.


* Ensure that all products produced meet or exceed customers' expectations regarding quality and service.


* Order all materials daily for production.


* Responsible for quality products.


* Perform general laboring duties as necessary.


* Safely operate various equipment as needed.


* Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.


* Other duties as assigned.

Requirements


* Must submit to a drug screen and criminal background check.


* Able to work various times during day, night or weekend hours, at various locations.

Education/Experience


* High school diploma or GED equivalent.


* Previous concrete experience perferred but not required
