Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

Altec, Inc.

is hiring a Marketing Coordinator in Birmingham, AL (Corporate Office).

Purpose of Position:


* Using previously acquired and advanced knowledge to execute and implement marketing projects or matters of limited complexity.

Major Responsibilities:


* As assigned, execute marketing tasks and activities to meet deadlines


* Participate in the setup and running of Altec meetings & events.


* Create/Edit/Update content that meets customer requirements and upholds branding standards.


* Developing familiarity with business practices and success metrics


* Participate in continuous improvement efforts


* All other duties as assigned

Roles can be specialized on one of the following areas:


* Marketing Data & Analytics
+ Convert raw data into actionable insights.

Employ data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities by gathering deeper insights, optimizing marketing objectives and generating a better return on investment.


* Campaigns
+ Create, monitor and manage marketing projects to support the goals of Altec businesses.

Projects include but are not limited to paid advertising and print publications.


* eCommerce
+ Drive eCommerce strategies to meet revenue goals while maintaining the eCommerce platforms to oversee product data, processes and models to provide an enhanced digital buying experience to users.


* Communication & Creative
+ Develop creative content and distribute using ideal delivery methods.

Conduct customer facing events, trade shows, internal events, social media.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:


* Industry knowledge, preferred and


* Applicable Bachelor's Degree (Preferred), OR
+ 7 Years Applicable Experience, or
+ 6 Years Applicable Experience with at least 2 Years Altec Experience

Other Position Specifications:


* Some travel up to 25% may be required
+ Specific Assignments may have additional travel requirements

* Exercise prudent judgment in carrying out all aspects of the position.


* Follow up, follow through, and double check all tasks associated with the position's responsibilities to ensure their completion and accuracy.


* Continuously develop knowledge of and follow applicable processes & procedures.


* Ensure Customer satisfaction, for both external and internal customers.


* Be proactive and not reactive to solution determination, data dissemination, etc.


* High attention to detail is required for all tasks to maintain effectiveness and credibility.


* Customer satisfaction may require that you put in additional hours to accomplish certain requests and meet deadlines.


* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
