About the role

Looking for a family-friendly mining role that allows you to be home every night? Join Alcoa's Willowdale Bauxite Mine, located near Waroona, south of Perth.

We have a range of Mining Operator opportunities available across our Production and Rehabilitation teams, offering roster options that support a healthy work-life balance.

As an All-Round Mining Operator, you'll play an important role in safely operating and maintaining heavy mobile equipment while contributing to reliable, efficient and high-quality mining outcomes.

Whether you're working within our Production team on a combination of day and night shifts or within our Rehabilitation team on a continuous 12 hour day roster you will be part of a team committed to safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

We're looking for enthusiastic, proactive individuals who enjoy working outdoors, collaborating with others and taking pride in delivering results.

Previous mining experience is valuable, but just as important is a positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to working safely.

What's on offer


* Family-friendly rosters with the ability to be home every night


* Production team roster: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 5 Days Off


* Rehabilitation team: Continuous Day Shift Roster (Week 1 consists of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday shifts, with Thursday off.

Week 2 provides seven consecutive days off).
