Job Description:
The MB Assembler is responsible for assembling cabinet components and finished products according to company quality standards, production schedules, and safety requirements.
Team members work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment using hand tools, power tools, machinery, and assembly equipment to produce high-quality kitchen and bath cabinetry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Assemble cabinet components, doors, drawers, and related products according to specifications.
* Read and follow work instructions, production orders, and quality standards.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently.
* Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality requirements are met.
* Identify and report material defects, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
* Maintain production goals and support team productivity objectives.
* Follow all safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing practices.
* Assist with material handling, packaging, and other production-related duties as assigned.
* Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
* Previous manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Basic math and measurement skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift.
* Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
* Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
* Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
* Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
