Motor Assembly Team Lead - 2nd Shift

Report daily production numbers.

Conduct daily accountability meetings and kaizen board meetings.

Communicate with 2nd shift to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.

Determine the daily schedule of the motor assembly cells and assign employees to the cells.

Assemble and test motors to work order instructions.

Troubleshoot problems associated with motor assembly.

Work with the Customer Experience Department on any work order problems.

Ensure proper training methods are being utilized throughout the department.

Conduct and document proper training of employees.

Provide input to the department supervisor regarding employee performance and assist with the preparation of performance evaluations.

Work with the department supervisor to ensure company goals are being achieved.

Maintain stock of MRO items for the assembly area.

Monitor quality of work performed by the employees.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Perform tasks related to maintaining the 5S program (housekeeping).
