Project Manager 2

Position Overview The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, execution, and successful implementation of projects focused on improving the management and integrity of Southern Company Generation assets.

Working within the Operations Data Analytics team, this position will manage asset-data and documentation projects supporting both: New generation facilities Existing generation facilities requiring documentation remediation or standardization Projects may involve: Plant walkdowns Engineering drawing updates Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) reviews CAD-related activities Asset equipment identification Equipment numbering and labeling Project planning and scheduling Budget management Operations & Maintenance (O&M) procedure reviews Data governance Asset documentation Vendor coordination Implementation and change management The Project Manager will serve as a central point of coordination among engineering, operations, supply chain, asset management, technology teams, project personnel, plant leadership, and external vendors.

This position requires strong project management capabilities combined with practical knowledge of heavy industrial or utility environments.
