DC Supervisor - Float

Supervisor and coordinate daily general operations, including labeling, repackaging, ticketing, and other customer-specific requirements.

Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve productivity and performance objectives.

Schedule and assign work to ensure timely completion of customer orders and service commitments.

Monitor workflow, labor utilization, and operational metrics to maximize efficiency and meet business goals.

Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and operational excellence.

Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, customer service, and other departments to support overall distribution center operation.

Identify and resolve operational issues, customer concerns, and process inefficiencies in a timely manner.

Train employees in work procedures, safety practices, and company policies.

Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety standards and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company regulations.

Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and corrective action processes for assigned staff.

Prepare and review reports related to productivity, labor performance, quality, and service levels.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and other business software to track production and performance.

Perform other duties and special projects assigned to support distribution center operations.
