Maintenance Clerk (Kaheka Store)

Job Title: Maintenance Clerk Department: Maintenance Reports to: Dept Mgr- Maintenance / Maintenance Section Leader POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in the general maintenance and cleaning of the stores facilities and property.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (responsibilities include, but are not limited to): - Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact, responds to requests for service and assistance in a timely manner, exceeding customer expectations - Sweep & mop floors - Clean & sanitized bathrooms - Collect & discard trash - Clean food court areas - Provide spot cleaning as needed - Retrieval and maintenance of shopping carts - Light repair work - Painting and other related duties OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Use proper safety procedures - Able to listen to directions and follow through independently - Good communication and observation skills EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: - No Preference SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Working with the public WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Air condition while in store, subject to outside conditions of heat, rain, and wind while retrieving wagons/helping customers to their car, and chill temperatures if products need to be retrieved from chill - Very fast paced PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
