MD Worker-Utility Clerk (Kaheka Store)

Job Title: MD Worker Department: Meat Reports to: Head Meat Cutter / Assistant Head Meat Cutter POSITION SUMMARY: Assists in the general maintenance and cleaning of the Meat department facilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (responsibilities include, but are not limited to): - Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact, responds to requests for service and assistance in a timely manner, exceeding customer expectations - Sweep & mop floors - Clean & sanitized meat equipment and machinery - Clean & sanitized general area of meat department - Collect & discard trash - May assist in the receiving of Meat Product: break open cases; - Rotate and stock cases of merchandise in the backroom - May assist in the cleaning of Display cases - Provide spot cleaning as needed - Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Use proper safety procedures - Able to listen to directions and follow through independently - Good communication and observation skills EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: - No Preference SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Working with the public WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Air condition while in store, subject to outside conditions of heat, rain, and wind while retrieving wagons/helping customers to their car, and chill temperatures if products need to be retrieved from chill - Very fast paced PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
