GENERAL DESCRIPTION Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is seeking a Financial Literacy Program Manager to co manage Habitat LAs Financial Literacy Program, which includes the pre and post purchase education and one-on-one counseling services in compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Coordinate and facilitate all pre and post purchase education workshops Manage a caseload of clients interested in becoming homeowners or seeking assistance to reach other financial goals; Use required reporting systems to effectively track, maintain and report program and client data.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute an outreach strategy to secure program participants SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, and driving record checkMust have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA Drivers License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insuranceMust have a reliable internet connectionBilingual English/Spanish preferred.Experience providing financial education, housing counseling, case management, or related client services.Knowledge of budgeting, credit management, debt reduction, savings strategies, and homeownership preparation.Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops or educational sessions.Ability to manage a client caseload and provide individualized guidance toward financial and homeownership goals.Experience maintaining accurate client records and entering data into required reporting or case-management systems.Understanding of regulatory, funding, confidentiality, and documentation requirements for financial education or housing programs.Ability to collaborate with internal departments and community partners to conduct outreach and rec...
