By building and preserving affordable housing through new construction, renovations, and home repairs, Habitat LA is transforming communities throughout Los Angeles County.
Through access to affordable loans, housing counseling, down-payment assistance, skilled construction training, financial education, and volunteer opportunities, the organization has strengthened families, helped stabilize communities, and fostered economic vitality in the region.
On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) is seeking a qualified candidate to work with our Home Preservationdepartment, which uses several funding sources to meet thehome repair needs of low-income Los Angeles residents.
TheProgram Manager works closely with our program participants,construction team, and funding partners to meet our ambitiousgoals.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Process program applications andqualify eligible households to meetmultiple funder requirements andprogram goals.
Adhere to all funder guidelines while maintaining all required documentation and prepare detailed documentation to present to funding partners for approval, billing and reporting Maintain accurate clientele records including contact information, project status updates, project budget, and demographic information Inform target communities of availableprogram services through informationsessions.
Implement outreach andmarketing strategies to identify qualifiedprogram participants.
SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, background check, and driving record checkMust have access to reliable transportation to perform job duties, a valid CA Drivers License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insuranceMust have a reliable internet connectionBilingual English/Spanish preferred.Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend meetings or events.Experience processing applications and determining program eligibility based on funding and program requirements.Knowledge of grant, government, or nonprofit program compliance and documentation standards.Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate client records, budgets, and project tracking.Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines while ensuring compliance with funder requirements.Excellent attention to...
