Meat Wrapper (Koloa Store)

Job Title: Meat Wrapper Department: Meat Reports to: Meat Manager/ Assistant Meat Manager POSITION SUMMARY: Wraps and displays quality meat department products while providing standard customer service.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (responsibilities include, but are not limited to): - Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact.

- Stocks and rotates meat items, to maintain freshness and quality, removes damaged items from cases - Packs meat products on trays, then forwards to wrapping - Operates wrapping machine, checks it for working order, maintains price integrity - Completes basic cleaning of department, by washing and sanitizing work tools and area - Keeps Meat chill organized and clean, bale boxes - Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: - Use of proper safety procedures - Able to listen to directions and follow through independently - Have good communication and observation skills - Able to work with a team and independently when needed EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: - High school / Secondary school diploma or GED - Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery - Possesses a food handling license SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Previous experience working with the public - Highly proficient in meat products preparation and uses - Working knowledge of different seafood types and cuts of meats required - Able to manage time well WORK ENVIRONMENT: - Air condition while in store, 40-50 degrees while working in the Meat department, freezer and chill.
