Position Summary The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will drive pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients across the United States.

This role is responsible for conducting outbound prospecting, managing inbound leads, researching target accounts, and scheduling qualified discovery meetings for the InSource sales team.

With a primary focus on Operational Efficiency, Industrial Cloud, and Professional Services, this position plays an important role in connecting manufacturing and industrial organizations with solutions that can improve productivity and profitability.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive, client-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and a desire to grow within a consultative B2B sales environment.

This role is critical to fueling InSource's growth by building early-stage relationships and creating meaningful opportunities for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities Outbound Prospecting and Lead Generation: Drive business development efforts through proactive outreach, including calls, emails, social selling, industry events, and other approved channels.

Identify and engage organizations within the ideal client profile.Lead Qualification and Discovery: Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their business needs, operational challenges, decision-making process, timing, and alignment with InSource solutions.Inbound Lead Management: Evaluate and respond promptly to incoming leads, ensuring timely follow-up, accurate qualification, and effective handoff to Account Executives or Account Managers.Account Research and Targeting: Research target organizations, facilities, industries, and stakeholders.

Develop and maintain strategic account and contact lists across operations, engineering, maintenance, IT, OT, and executive leadership.Collaboration with Sales and Marketing: Partner with sales and marketing teams to support campaigns, nurture leads, improve messaging, and increase the quality and conversion of prospective opportunities.Solution Awareness and Messaging: Develop a strong understanding of InSource offerings and communicate how our solutions and services can support productivity, operational visibility, quality, reliability, workforce effectiveness, and risk reduction.CRM and Activity Management: Maintain accurate records of outreach, conversations, lead status, follow-up commitments, and pi...
